For the firsts few posts in this blog I have been using photos taken by friends. I believe this one with the houses on stilts comes from Chiloé. I find it interesting how I have such a blurry idea of what Chiloé is or what it looks like. I am aware that it's an island, yet I don't know how big. Friends tell me it is green and beautiful, and I have felt there is some kind of magic in it. The few pictures I have seen present a very different picture of my island schemata. It will be interesting to compare these initial thoughts of it with my experiences as I step on its shores.
